Overview

Shermco Industries is seeking a technical electrical project/program manager to work in the capacity of Key Account Account Manager to oversee and manage client relationships/projects on a national basis acting as the senior account representative for the company and working with our national clients and partners in the Food and Beverage Industry. You will manage the Cargill account on a national strategic level to maintain existing and grow new business at other locations but also grow our business, expanding on the other services we provide. You will work closely with the local territory account managers around the country who service this account, as well as work directly with the client. Ideally, we are seeking someone in Midwest locations near a major /large airport; however, we will consider remote status from other locations for the right candidate fit. Travel is at 50% in US and Canada.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

    • Develop comprehensive Account plans with trackable metrics and KPIs.
    • Creating and monitoring targets for the national sales department.
    • Building a trusting and professional relationship with clients.
    • Meeting with clients and account managers.
    • Ensuring that all accounts are looked after and maintained.
    • Supervising and managing regional salespeople in your department.
    • Following up on complaints and queries on behalf of clients.
    • Promoting new services and products to clients in your department.
    • Reporting to senior management on the status of your accounts.
    • Taking a leading role in presentations and proposals for national accounts.
    • Monitoring and identifying market trends, competitors, and new sales leads.
    • attend and leading certain large-scale Cargill maintenance outages as the Shermco outage lead. During these outages, you will be the main point of contact for Cargill and will monitor and provide status updates, as well as work through any deficiencies with the client that may arise during the electrical testing we perform on equipment.

Qualifications

 

  • An Electrical Engineering degree with Project Management experience OR in lieu of a degree, we will consider electrical field services or electrical technical sales experience with Project Management experience and abilities.
  • Outage experience is a plus.
  • Project management experience.
  • Outage management/coordination experience is ideal
  • Ability to travel 50% within the US and Canada.
  • Food and beverage industry experience.
  • A solid grasp of sales metrics, performance measures, and technical indicators.
  • A thorough aptitude for analysis and strategy.
  • Decisive thinking and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-relations skills.
  • Negotiation, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.
  • Dynamic and creative problem-solving abilities.

Pay Range

USD $132,800.00 - USD $229,200.00 /Yr.
