Position Summary:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and directing the day-to-day operations of the assigned business unit. This role ensures operational efficiency, quality performance, and alignment with company goals. The Operations Manager will lead and develop staff, implement operational strategies, and work collaboratively across departments to achieve key performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and supervise operational staff, including recruiting, onboarding, training, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring processes are executed effectively and service delivery meets quality standards.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and project management teams to align objectives and achieve organizational goals.
• Ensure all activities are compliant with applicable regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Identify and implement strategies for process improvements, cost control, and increased productivity.
• Support safety initiatives and maintain a strong safety culture within the department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (required).
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) license preferred.
• Experience in the power industry highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations management, preferably in an engineering, technical services, or industrial setting.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, safety requirements, and compliance standards.
• Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
