Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field (MBA or professional certification such as CPSM, CIPS preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and/or category management.
- Proven track record of delivering cost savings / value and managing supply risk through strategic sourcing.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Experience with, or relevant education / training, in technical categories of spend (preferably with electrical apparatus, components, systems and services).
- Experience with ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder influencing skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Success Metrics
- Achievement of annual cost savings, spend under management and supplier performance goals.
- Implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives aligned with business needs.
- Improved supplier quality, reliability, and innovation.
- Increased internal stakeholder satisfaction with procurement outcomes.
