Shermco Systems Integration, a Shermco company, is seeking a Project Manager.
Join our team of leaders in system integration, engineering, and controls. Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Project Managers with a background in various project management methodologies and a strong knowledge of industrial control systems. Shermco is an industry-leading turnkey systems integration firm.
This motivated team player will possess the ability to manage scope, delivery time, budget and client satisfaction. A background in estimating is required.
Job Responsibilities and Expectations:
· Solid background in various project management methodologies
· Understand Construction Plans and Drawings to develop scope of work for the project
· Ability to track, forecast, and budget the financials and assets of projects
· Strong technical and functional skills and the ability to organize and track multiple simultaneous tasks
· Strong interpersonal skills for communication with a diversified user community, contractors, and outside vendors
· Some travel will be required based on project assignment
· Overall job responsibility for scheduling, forecasting, subcontractor coordination, manpower, and project financials including invoicing and purchasing.
· Administrative duties including performance corrections and reviews, approving timesheets and expense forms for project groups.
· Serves as primary contact for customer and the implementation
· Customer relations, scheduling, P&L and overseeing all phases of project and manufacturing tailored to our client’s needs
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify for consideration, you must meet each of the following minimum qualifications and requirements:
· Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
· Superior working knowledge of Windows operating systems, MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Project/Business Central, and Adobe Acrobat, and BlueBeam.
· Must be able to communicate in English clearly & effectively in verbal and written methods.
· Must be comfortable & effective when interfacing directly with customers and co-workers.
Requirements:
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests.
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
· All offers are conditioned on acceptable results from a background check and drug and alcohol screening.
· Must have a valid driver’s license, currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record.
· Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without need for employer-sponsored visa (work permit).
· Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English.
